It was our first family trip and WOW did we have a blast!

It was a bit of an emotional roller coaster, as we came to the beach just after seeing G’s birth family, but God was so good to us, and gave us such a sweet time as a family.

We went on a beach trip with our church and there are hundreds of us there that rent out lots of condos. Our church is truly our family, so to have so many around us that we love on our first trip with our girl was special.

We were blessed to stay in a condo with Josh’s parents. And we had lots of help with many others offering to help with Genevieve. We are just so blessed and there is seriously no way for her to know how deeply and intensely she is loved by so many.

I could tell you lots of details about our trip, but I figured it would be better to just share photos and they can tell our beach trip story.

We had a great family trip.

However, when life and happy times are had, there is devastation and darkness had elsewhere. After we returned from our trip, one of our dear friends, Ryan Walker passed away.

How thankful we are to know He is in our Father’s presence. But Ryan’s presence is missed beyond anything explainable.

It has never left our mind that even when our lives are seemingly “good”, others are facing pains unimaginable. May we all always be mindful of that.

Reminded to enjoy and be thankful for every moment, and we did on this trip,
