Yes, it’s true- a sweet baby girl! We can’t even believe it! Funny thing is, I’ve typically pictured myself as a mom of boys. I love sports and the sweetness of little boys, and when we were first married, I just assumed that is what we would have- a little Josh:) (cutest kid ever).
Once I was diagnosed with cancer, many people told me they had dreams of us with girls, and from that point forward, I just had a feeling we would have a girl first. So, for this baby to be a girl- a true gift, a promise fulfilled, and a sweet angel to love.
We are obsessed. Seriously obsessed with her.
Telling the world makes this so much more real. Yes, we know it’s risky to have things like this (reveals, baby showers, etc…), knowing that an adoption is never final until the baby is born and paperwork is signed, but as I said before, we are walking in faith.
Would you please commit to pray for our birth mom, the attorneys involved, the counselors involved, her family, her children- each time you think about Josh and I?
One of our greatest joys is her greatest heartbreak.
Just wanted to let you guys know that in the midst of our excitement is the realness of the pain that our birth mother is facing. That never leaves our minds. But that doesn’t mean we can’t rejoice and celebrate. Our attorney continues to tell us that she is thrilled to allow us to raise this baby as our own. God knew she was ours from the beginning and that deserves massive celebration.
Enjoy a sweet video from our reveal. JOY!!!
Every day I’m celebrating,
Aly

There are just no words for me to describe my joy for the two of you! I am praying for the birth mom and know God will be with her every step of the way through this. I am so thrilled for this baby girl, just knowing the love and the joy she will experience all of her beautiful life being raised by two Godly parents who will teach her from the beginning who her Heavenly Daddy is and train her up in the ways of the Lord!!! I have sent your last post to the prayer team to be praying over the birth mom, a normal safe delivery and a beautiful, healthy baby girl!!!! Love you both!! Ginny
