I have people all of the time stop me in person, email me, call me, and write me telling me how amazing our story is and how much God has done in our lives. Let me just tell you, to be on this side of the miracles, where I am the one living them every day—it’s something indescribable.
Well, it seems that God is continuing to use us to show His mighty power. As if he needed to do anything else…
During cancer, infertility, and our failed adoption turned miracle—in those low moments it was hard to see that God was working everything together for our good. I knew He was, but I could not see how it would come to pass.
We are seeing God restore what the locusts have stolen—“…I will make up to you the years that the locust has eaten…” (Joel 2:25, NASB)
All that to say, I AM PREGNANT!!!
We didn’t think this was impossible, but I see in scripture where so many declared barren did conceive. I love the scripture, “Nothing is impossible with God.” Luke 1:37. Many people don’t realize the context. It was said referring to Elizabeth (previously barren) when she became pregnant with John the Baptist.
Nothing, I mean, NOTHING, is impossible with our God!
Genevieve is going to be a big sister!
We always wanted our babies close together, and they will be 17 months apart:) God’s plan just knocks me over in amazement.
In awe,
Aly
