There is more than one Baby Taylor coming…

You may have already heard from the grapevine or our Facebook page, but here it goes:

Yes, you read that right! There is more than one Baby Taylor coming in August! There will be two! You are probably thinking we are having twins, and by all accounts, you are almost right. However, we are not having twins.

We learned about a month and a half ago that the birth mom who carried Genevieve until birth is pregnant again. The family was very hesitant to tell and ask us about adopting another baby, because they knew I was pregnant. We were able to talk with them and our attorney in Florida, and we have formalized the adoption.

We are having two babies in August! Is your mind blown? You are feeling just a hundredth of what we have been feeling over this past month and a half.

We are incredibly thankful to God for this newest blessing! We are continually overwhelmed at His many blessings and continued trust in us. May we commit each child back to Him and may He equip us to raise our children to be mighty warriors for His kingdom (I will need many prayers :))

We will share details at some point, but please Praise God with us for this newest blessing! Please join us in praying for perfect health for both of our babies!

I know many of you are wanting more details, and at this point we don’t have too many more details. We just know that our birth mother is due at the end of August and I am due at the beginning. She had Genevieve a few weeks early, so we literally could be having babies at the same time. These babies will be heart twins!

Please join me in praying for the birth mom. This once again will be a selfless decision for her and we need some fierce prayer warriors- for her health and the baby’s, and for the baby to be where he/she should be!

Also, we found out the gender of the baby I am carrying! We are having a baby GIRL! Yes, that’s right, we are adding another baby girl to our family. We are ecstatic. Josh is convinced that Baby #3 will be a girl too—we will see and we will be thrilled regardless.

We are hoping we will be able to go with our birth mom to some of her doctor’s appointments. Please be praying about that.

We cannot say thank you enough for you all continuing to follow our story and join us on this crazy ride.

My life literally seems like a movie. Just when I think the story is “ending”, another curve ball comes. Someone told me that I need to have a book series, because each piece leaves you hanging and wanting more. The funny thing is, even the author doesn’t know what’s coming!!!

But I am just not surprised by God anymore.

He completely heals my body after a crazy hard fight with cancer.

He then walks with me through infertility and holds my heart and hand as we had multiple failed infertility treatments.

We are told we will not have a biological baby.

He then changes my heart completely and makes me more excited about adopting a baby than carrying one with my DNA.

Then, he does a miracle when our adoption fails, and we get our baby girl.

Then, He blesses me with another miracle baby, this time through pregnancy.

THEN, we get a call that our birth mom has chosen us to adopt another baby- something we had continued to pray about— I mean, does anyone else think this is just crazy amazing?!?

Our God is AMAZING and does the impossible!
